Good bye dear friend

what do you say.
I stumbled upon you with my friends.
Dancing the days and nights of every week away to the dulcet tunes of rock lobster and how soon is now.
Watching my boys play pool and being served by the waiter in a wedding dress.
Dancing in go-go cages and climbing up into the loft that was your booth.
Hearing an off conversation, your friends figuring out how to retrieve the tin foil out of the grate without the bouncers noticing.
Going from Euro pop to grunge to industrial all in the span of 3 hours.
From speed metal to speed garage. Trance to Drum and Bass. From Celtic rock and Demonic delights.
Drinking cheap pitchers of Drumm on old car seats.
Looking at your membership and knowing that douche bags can't get in.
Waiting for the summer birthday bash and the anti stampede fun.
New graffiti, new art, new layouts.
Losing friends, making them.
Holding hands in the dark and laughing for hours.
Dancing soo long you thought your legs would give out.
From "Fly Girl" to "Grunge Chick" to "Club Kid" to "Raver" to "Hipster" to " Mom"
We raise our glasses one and all and sing your praises and your woes.
I will always think of you fondly.
